    This is how I use it and works well.

    I apply soap and wash as usual. Now, rinse off ALL THE SOAP THOROUGHLY. It will not work if you leave any soap on your skin or use soap on it. After rinsing, wipe as much water off your skin as possible. Next, soak the sponge and squeeze out all excess water to just make it damp. Apply a sponge to the skin and use it to rub off dead skin. Works well.
